Seaworld Rebrand

 

Project Description & Concept/Design Goals 

The goal of this project was to understand brand identity in a defunct or dead brand and redesign that brand with an understanding of how to propel that brand forward in the future. By understanding Seaworld’s history, identifying keywords and creating a rebranding objective, I was able to create a brand that has new opportunities for future expansion.

For this project, I created 3 books: the visual strategy guide, the visual development guide and the visual standards guide, which each outline the new brand. The visual strategy guide covers the history of Seaworld. the visual development guide explores the development of the face of the brand, a new logo. The visual standards guide takes you through the specifications of the brand and how one would utilize all of the assets within the brand guide.
